What an affiliate link means
Some Bass Facts pages contain links to products or services that may pay Bass Facts a commission if a reader makes a qualifying purchase after clicking. The reader’s purchase price is not increased because of the affiliate relationship.
How affiliate links are labeled
Affiliate links are identified near the link or recommendation so readers do not have to search for the disclosure. Amazon links on product guides and reviews are labeled as Amazon affiliate links.
What affiliate relationships do not change
Affiliate compensation does not turn a product into a Bass Facts recommendation. Product pages are expected to explain the use case, limitations and relevant alternatives. We do not claim that a product is the “best” simply because it has an affiliate link.
Prices and availability
Retail prices and availability change. Bass Facts generally avoids hard-coding Amazon prices and directs readers to the retailer page to check the current listing.
Product images, reviews and ratings
Bass Facts prefers original photography and original editorial material. We do not copy Amazon customer reviews or star ratings into our pages. Retailer-provided material is used only when permitted by the applicable program terms.
Older Bass Fishing Facts content
BassFishingFacts.com contains older product reviews and affiliate guides. When worthwhile material is rebuilt for BassFacts.com, old prices, dead listings and outdated claims are reviewed rather than copied automatically.
Questions or corrections
If an affiliate link is mislabeled, points to the wrong product or no longer works, please use the contact information on the About Bass Facts page so we can review it.
